Andy Fisher, who learned on 6 May that he is to be held in custody in Mont-de-Marson until his trial in September, was arrested after travelling by car from England to collect a truck which had crashed in Spain. His wife Jenny hopes to discover the truth when she visits him in June. She says she received a call from her husband's solicitor saying that "he had head and back injuries but had been given the all-clear by a doctor". In February, another British driver, David Fry from Rays Transport of Bradford, was beaten up while in custody in France (CM 26 Feb-4 Mar).
