Drewry, and Shelvoke and Drewry, Ltd., Letchworth, It consists of a trolley which can be wheeled about on the ground, and has a steering wheel of the kind which can move sideways on its ode. It can be tilted and connected to a lorry by means of hooks, so as to form a ramp up which goods on wheeled containers can be drawn by means of a chain or rope and the windlass arrangement shown.

When used at the side of a lorry it can be moved from place to place so that a number of containers can 14 carried side by side on the lorry, whilst any of these can be removed without disturbing the others.
