ONE OF THE features of next year’s CV Show will be the return of some high-proile exhibitors who opted not to take part when the effects of the recession were at their worst.
These include some of the big truck manufacturers, such as Isuzu, which has booked a 400m2 stand at the 2012 show being held at Birmingham NEC from 24-26 April.
Isuzu marketing director Keith Child says that the irm had “a couple of years off in the recession”, but feels the time is now right to return. One reason for its return is that Isuzu has some new products to show off, including a nine-tonne truck that will have a prominent position on its stand.
However, Child adds: “It can take several years to court back a company that has bought into another brand, but our experience is that showing our products at the important shows, like the CV Show, is a vital part of a long-term, effective sales strategy.”
