• The world's "first unbreakable vehicle mirror" has arrived, claims mirror manufacturer Spafax.
The Basingstoke company is so confident that its new mirror cannot be broken that it is offer ing a 10-year guarantee against lens breakage.
One practical test the company says can be carried out to prove its claim was warmly welcomed by CM staff.
With hammer in hand several mighty blows were brought down on the mirror. The result ? Dented, yes, but not broken, and still useable.

Nissan has developed a selfcleaning wing mirror with a new chemical coating designed to clean off raindrops and dirt. The mirror will be launched on Nissan passenger cars in Japan this year and will be used right across the company's range.
