• Albion Distribution is exclusive UK distributors of the Ebro range of butterfly valves. Castiron valves from 3/4 to 12in, and aluminium ones from two up to 12in and for pressures up to 16 bar, are all held in stock for immediate delivery.
The maker says the butterfly valves offers a number of advantages over traditional gate or globe valves. Their low weight and compact design reduce transport, storage and fitting costs and makes the installation more compact too.
The Ebro range of leak and maintenance-free valves incorporates several advanced design features. The top flange conforms to 1S05211, making the fitting of pneumatic or electrical actuators simple, and the shaft is fitted with a safety device making inadvertent shaft removal impossible.
This equipment has been approved by the gas industry and is widely used for chemical, water and waste treatment applications, as well as for tankers handling aggressive media, solvents, abrasive media and contaminated products.
