Palletways introduces Slick new mascot for the South-East

joannaturkefdrbi.co.uk PALLETWAYS HAS celebrated the transformation of its Greenford, London. site into a flagship huh for the South-East, with the unveiling of a new company mascot in the form of Slick the dragon.
The pallet network has invested a substantial amount to more than double the size of its facility, to 80,000ft2. Since it reopened on I March, the company has seen a 500% increase in volumes through the site.
Palletways UK MD Craig Hibbert says: -There are 32 members using this hub, whereas previously they would have had to trunk into our main hub at Fradley. in Staffordshire. This is saving operators time and money, and improving Palletways' carbon footprint."
The southern hub is at 70% capacity and Hibbert anticipates membership growth as companies wish to reap the rewards of being part of a network that has such a strong presence in the South.
To expand the business further, the firm's marketing image, Slick the dragon, will appear across the network, including the fleet's livery. later this year. Palletways says he represents strength and reliability.
He was introduced to the public next to the London Mayor's office last week. in the form of a 61ft-tall hot-air balloon dragon. with size 116 feet and a giant pallet on his back.
