The component manufacturers always have some surprises up their sleeves, but we know Haldex will be showing a new electronic braking system and a new 19.5in disc brake.
IMS will display the latest SAF disc-braked axle/suspension units alongside an air-operated landing leg system called Buzzlift. Cummins will show off its entire Euro-3 heavy-duty engine range, running from 325-615hp, as well as the latest version of RoadRelay.
The Cool 2001 area will include new products from Thermo King designed to cut maintenance costs, while Hubbard will emphasise a "low-carbon" approach that avoids the use of separate diesel engines.
Other components on show will include a BPS-based "Intelligent Speed Control" from Autokontrol; reversing alarms from Brigade Electronics; innovations from coupling/fifth-wheel manufacturer Fontaine VBG; and the full range of Rockinger drawbar couplings up to a 1,000-tonne capacity.
