41 Volvo and ERF both sold more trucks in April compared with the same month last year although overall registrations fell by 15% to 3,690.
Bucking the trend, Volvo registered 465 vehicles (378 in 1996) last month while ERF sold 208 (177). All other manufacturers saw sales dip again—sales of Scania trucks and artics plummeted over 30% to 351.
Leyland Dal took first place in the league table with 807 registrations.
