DPERATORS can now pass through Greece and deliver there without the use of permits under a new agreement which came into force this month.
The agreement allows both haulage and own account operators to enter Greece with a laden or empty lorry to carry goods between Britain and Greece or through Greece en route for another country.
Department of Transport say that traffic between Greece and a third country by a British operator will need the approval of the Greek Government before goods can be carried.
