Mr. G. T. T. Jackson has taken up his appointment with Cranes (Dereham), Ltd.
Mr. P. Brougham has been appointed branch manager, Haslemere Motor Co.. Ltd.
Mr. J. Keech, assistant service manager of Kennings (Bedford), Ltd., since October, 1950, has been appointed service manager.
Mr. T. W. E. Fish, transport manager of the Buxton, Derbys, lirneworks of the I.C.I. Alkali Division for the past 32 years. has retired.
Mr. Peter Gomm has been appointed public relations manager of the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. (Great Britain), Ltd., a newly created post. He was previously editor of Goodyear publications.
Mr. Ernest James Scott has, been appointed chairman and managing director of Bluemel Bros., Ltd., following the death of the previous chairman and managing director, Mr. Frank William Bluemel. Mr. p. W. Howard, deputy chairman and former managing director of BTR Industries, Ltd., has retired. Mr. Howard. who is 70, was with the company for 35 years.
Mr. P. S. Greenhill, manager of the Norwich branch of the British Wagon Co., Ltd., has been promoted to assistant sales manager at the company's head office in Rotherham.
Mr. P. R. Scutt, managing director of Tecalemit. Ltd., is visiting America to . extend the company's business in the U.S. and to attend a board meeting of the Imperial-Eastman Corporation of Illinois, of which he is a director. He is due to return to Britain next Wednesday.
Mr. Walter West and Mr. Charles Robertson have been appointed executive chairman and managing director, respectively, of Beans Industries, Ltd. Mr. West is deputy chairman of Leyland Motors, Ltd., chairman of Scammell Lorries, Ltd., and managing director of West. Yorkshire Foundries, Ltd. Mr. Robertson is director and general manager of West Yorkshire Foundries. Ltd.
