In the mid-90s there were 1,600 of these rear-engine microvans buzzing around, but over the last 17 years 1,598 have been scrapped. Incredibly, the original Fiat Fiorino (which was based on the Fiat 127 passenger car), has even worse survival skills. Its numbers have fallen from 4,092 to just one during the last 17 years.
To get an idea of how horrible the Citivan was – try pronouncing it in your best Japanese accent!
