I was quite well reported. However, you point out at the end of the piece that the Traffic Area Office was unable to bring this company to heel as it was outside its jurisdiction.
If TAOs are unable to do anything against companies such as this we might as well just operate without 0licences and abolish the TA0s. This would save money and the time of the legitimate haulier. The enforcement authorities are, however, a different kettle of fish, or so we are led to believe. But if they don't take action it will make a mockery of the soon-to-come get-tough plan. Do you not agree? And maybe someone ought to point out to the Road Haulage or Freight Transport Associations what sort of operations some people out there are running and decide whether they want these sorts of companies on the roads at all.
