Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Chassis builder M&G Tankers and Trailers and Italian tanker body manufacturer Omep have agreed to sell each others' products.

It is the first reciprocal agreement the Stourbridgebased firm has made with a Continental company. M&G will exhibit the first Omep body to be seen in the UK — a 35m3 powder tank — at the Motor Show.

M&G specalises in trailer chassis, but builds a few dry goods bodies. Verona-based Omep specialises in bodies including tipping and nontipping dry powder and stainless steel tanks.

Brian Field, M&G managing director, says the deal is purely a trading agreement, with neither company taking a financial stake in the other. Omep is familyowned, but M&G, which turns over almost £10rn, is part of the publicly-quoted II Dyson group.
