The hearing of a series of offences against lorry driver Anthony McIntosh, including forgery, tachograph falsification, and driving without the appropriate licence, has been adjourned until September by Epping magistrates. The magistrates heard McIntosh now lives in Malaga.

Welsh TC David Dixon has refused an increase in the nine vehicles and seven trailers operated by Northop-based Brooks Haulage because of speed limiter offences. He also suspended two vehicles for three weeks.

Llandudno truck driver Neil Jackson had his HGV licence restored after assuring Welsh TC David Dixon that he would not drive within 48 hours of drinking alcohol. He had previously been banned following two drink-related offences.

Lochmaben lorry driver Craig Clark has to wait for two months before his HGV driving licence is restored following two drink drive convictions. Clark appeared before Scottish TC Michael Betts at a Dumfries public inquiry.
WINE ND
A bid for a new licence for one vehicle and one trailer by James Galletly, trading as J&R International Transport, has been refused on financial grounds. The bid had been adjourned by Scottish TC Michael Betts in May.
