• Never get out of your cab or wind down the window in suspicious circumstances.
• If unsure phone your controller to tel him where you are and what's happening.
• Be cautious if you are forced to stop, for example, at the scene of an accident or an emergency, or at police stops.
• Conduct any conversation through a closed window.
• If people in uniform claiming to be police officers stop you, insist on seeing their ID.
• Use a torch if you have to examine any identification through your window and take time to look at what you're being shown.
• If you are unhappy with their identity for any reason, tell them though the window that you will follow them to the earest police station.
• Whenever possible, decide where you will park overnight before starting your journey.
• Always make sure your cab and the load compartment are secure.
• When driving, lock the load compartment.
• Always check that all security devices are working.
