Johnston Sweepers Looks to clean up at 2011 CV show
ROADSWEEPER manufacturer Johnston Sweepers will be among those showing off their vehicles at the 2011 CV Show next spring.
Johnston, which exports 60% of everything it manufactures. supplies mainly municipal equipment to local authorities and contractors.
UK sales manager Graham Howlett says roadsweepers can play an important role in improving air quality as some can now trap dust from the air around them.
Johnston sweepers can he mounted on chassis from 7.5 tonnes to 32 tonnes, and Howlett says its market is expanding. He adds that in the UK. it is stronger in the east of the country than in the west, and Johnston would therefore like to expand its sales in the western half in 2011.
The CV Show runs from 12-14 April 2011 at the NEC Birmingham.
