A COMPUTER services manager has been appointed by the warehousing company McGregor Cory. He is Stephen Blackman, and he moves to the newly created post from the company's parent group, Ocean Transport and Trading.
Mr Blackman joined Ocean 10 years ago as a management trainee. He has worked in its business systems department in Liverpool and as administration manager of its River Unit offices in Charlton. Now he will be responsible for McGregor Cory's computerisation programme, which involves the linking up of a network of 25 minicomputers at six warehouse sites to meet increased customer requirements.
