aterworth has cut the authorisation on the licence held by Liverpool-based WST from nine vehicles and 10 trailers to seven vehicles and eight trailers. He also gave the company a final warning about its maintenance record.
Decision delayed
• Charles Hey & Sons and Garth Transport are waiting to see if they have won authority to base three vehicles and three trailers and six vehicles and four trailers respectively at Hambleton Garage, Bolton Abbey, following objections from local residents. North Eastern DTC Brian Horner reserved his decision at a Skipton public inquiry.
Tacho training
• Rochester-based PJ Scaffolding Co (Medway) has been granted a new fivevehicle restricted licence after promising that all its drivers would receive tachograph training within two months. The company appeared before South Eastern & Metropolitan TC Michael Turner.
