• New and regular transport services will link East Anglia with all parts of Britain starting this month following the formation of a road haulage company — Eastern Roadways Ltd — by P and 0 Road Services.
P and 0 plans to build up a fleet of new vehicles based on depots at Norwich, Great Yarmouth, King's Lynn and Ruskington (Lincolnshire) to expand its general haulage, contract hire, storage and other specialized operations throughout the region and beyond. From Felixstowe hq Eastern Roadways' services will be closely integrated with the national and international operations of the P and 0 Group.
