FOLLOWING THE article regarding the "Truck Off' campaign (CM 2 March),I logged onto the Liberal Democrats site about the clash between local residents in Cheriton, Kent and LGV parking at www.shepwaylib dems.orgaildpages/truekoff.html.
I think it is unfortunate that the site is called "Truck Off', as the name hardly supports the site moderator's contention that they want to get more LGV parking for trucks and appreciate the contribution of truck drivers.
I did write to "Truck Off' giving the lorry drivers' point of view, but they haven't published any of what! asked to be pasted onto their website.
This leads me to believe that the 'brand name' Lib-Dems contains two lies: this lot are neither Liberal nor Democratic.
