II Major-General Sir John Potter, who was appointed chairman of Traffic Commissioners and Licensing Authority for the Yorkshire Area last January, has informed the Ministry of Transport that he must regretfully resign his appointment in view of his wife's state of health. His resignation will take effect from June 30th, His successor has not yet been named.
