25 vehicles and 50 trailers at the British Gypsum site in Fenton Lane, Sherburnin-Elmet, Leeds, subject to the following conditions and undertakings: • once the loading process is completed, trailers will park in bays at the rear of the factory; • trailers designed for loading will park in the area in front of the load bays; • all authorised vehicles at the British Gypsum operating centre in Fenton Lane will be fitted with white noise alarms; • Ceva Logistics will ensure that there is no littering within the operating centre and in the surrounding area, used by the authorised vehicles; • the operator will, as part of the induction process to both new and existing staff, train all drivers to look for any pedestrians walking along the road, and consider the overtaking distance from the side of the vehicle to the pedestrian before overtaking the pedestrian at slow speed. Drivers should also be trained to be aware of any oncoming traffic that may affect their safety before overtaking; • there will be no slamming of cab doors at the operating centre.
Ceva Logistics has also provided the TC with the following statement of intent: "Vehicles authorised under this licence using British Gypsum, Fenton Lane, Sherburn-in-Elmet as an operating centre will observe a 30mph speed limit along the access road to and from the operating centre."
