The trailers employed are second-hand SDC tri-axle step-frames that were refurbished and customised by Somerset company Tor Trucks.
Lusty and Davis are enthusiastic in their praise for paint-shop boss Shane Brererton, who, they say, took a personal interest in the proceedings and made useful suggestions during the initial negotiations. "The trailers needed a lot of work done to them," says Paul. "We needed a modified rear end, external side lockers and improved lighting, plus a first-class paint job. And, as usual, we needed the work done in a hurry. But Shane came through with exactly what we needed," he confirms.
