Auditor writes tacho guide
ON BEHALF Of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers, Gordon Humphries from Foster Tachographs has written a Best Practice Guide Towards Tachograph Systems Compliance.
Humphries, who goes into operators and audits tachographs. has become increasingly exasperated by the poor comprehension by transport managers of their responsibilities regarding tachograph law. "Most operators don't have adequate systems. Those that do, leave them to run themselves.
"I've written this guide to give the industry ideas to have the right systems, to manage them, and help [achieve compliance," he says.
