RENAUL1 TRUCKS has developed a central online system for its used stock so customers can search for trucks across its UK and Continental dealer network.
Chris Sharp, operations manager, used vehicles, says previously customers had to talk to dealers direct to find out what vehicles were available. The move online means the stocklist is just a click away "We've noticed a massive increase in used vehicle enquiries online in the past two years," he says. "The rebranding of the Renault Trucks used vehicle programme to Truckplus will further enhance our brand in the used vehicle arena, improving our standards and strengthening our commitment and offer to our customers.
"Truckplus allows all distributors of Renault Trucks used vehicles to share. together with the manufacturer, the passion for used vehicles in the UK marketplace,he says.
Its launch, at the CV Show, brings the service into line with Renault Trucks' pan-European operation. All the details of the vehicles from the dealer network, Renault UK stock and part-exchange stock from other manufacturers can be found at www.truckplus.co.uk.
