Defensive-driving training has become much more popular in recent years, but it usually emphasises the hazards of onroad driving. In fact, a large proportion of accidents occurs in depots and yards; these low-speed manoeuvring problems cost a great deal of money and time, and can be just as deadly as high-speed incidents.
