• Scania has pulled out of the TipCon show at Manchester, IRTE at Telford and the IWM show at Torquay. Scania spokeswoman Jackie Burr says it will be at the NEC CV Bodywork Show next March. "Lost year it was talked about whether it was worth us going to TipCon and IRTE," she says, "and the decision has been taken that we'll only go out and support one major show—and do it properly."
However Scania will still be exhibiting at Commercial Motor Truckfest,
Scania's decision comes at a time when there is a growing feeling among truck makers that there are too many UK shows to support.
