• Guernsey-based Paul Rouget Plant Hire has taken delivery of a 44-tonne tandem-axle step-frame trailer with beaver tail and ramps from Andover Trailers.
The trailer; pulled by a rtx2 320hp Seania 113, has been designed to fall within tight regulations on the island—overall length of tractor and trailer is 42ft; just inside the 43ft restriction.
The trailer will deliver minidiggers and excavators to building sites. It is fitted with 750mm-wide hydraulic ramps.
