Cornwall's rocky coves, charming fishing villages and rolling hills make for spectacular viewing. Behind the scenes, though, local hauliers are busy running a variety of las. Tim Maughan and photographer Richard Connelly took to the highways, venturing along the Atlantic north coast of the county, then heading along its rocky south coast. They met five operators who run within Cornwall's borders, and those who field trucks hundreds of miles distant. One thing was strikingly clear: tippers are still the heart of this area's road transport.
