Continental runs
COMPANIES in the Eastlander Pool have applied to the EEC and the Traffic Commissioners for a regular service from Cheltenham to Brussels. The service, to be marketed by Tricentrol Travel, is to run via Oxford, Aylesbury, Luton, Hertford, Harlow, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Zeebrugge and Bruges.

London County Bus Services has just gained a four year Certificate of Fitness on a 1948 AEC Regent which is being placed into service to relieve vehicle shortages at their Chelsham garage.
Psv fire law
FROM June 15, 1977, all psv vehicles must be fitted with BCF type fire estinguishers. The extinguisher can be either a controlled discharge or a total discharge type. If a controlled discharge extinguisher is used it is essential that the cartridge is rechanged if the extinguisher is partly used.
Summer show
LONDON Transport is to open its bus and railway works to the public this summer.
A programme of 25 separate visits to 11 locations has been arranged including visits to LT's Chiswick and Aldenham bus works and the Chiswick training centre.

ASCO Limited, the Irish coachbuilders of the Clubman range of small capacity coaches, have added the Fiat OM 55 chassis to their range.
The Fiat, with its 4.56 litre diesel engine answeres the demand from operators requiring a small high performance coach.
