A DISPUTE over mobility of labour has caused a strike among 140 engine assembly men at the British Leyland plant in Bathgate.
The dispute which began on June 8 and a company spokesman said the strike followed a management request "to maintain existing output by redeploying nine men on track jobs which were unfilled because of absenteeism."
