Benalu, once in bed with General Trailers and Fruehauf, is hitting the UK market with lightweight aluminium chassis and trailers. The 9.27 triaxle straight-chassis Siderale trailer weighs in at 5,110kg and its key development for strength is the tapered connection between the 5mm sidewall and the 8mm floor. The 13-rib 9.5m Agriliner bathtub weighs in at 5,240kg empty; it features a 3mm wall and 6mm floor without a taper. Both trailers come with Edbro front-end lifting gear and disc brakes.
