t's good to know that the miserable little tea leaves of this world don't always get away with it. When its Scania skip lorry valued at 165,000 was stolen, West Bromwich Pallets informed the Ed Doolan show on WM radio as well as the police. After hearing the radio appeal, lorry driver Joe Mahoney didn't waste any time when he spotted the stolen vehicle. He swung into action blocking the Scan ia in James Scott Road, Halesowen. Unfortunately the two thieves legged it but the happy outcome was that West Bromwich Pallets got their truck back—and gratefully donated £500 to Ed Doolan's favourite charity, Sandwell Hospital Radio, A £500 reward also went to brave Mahoney A good result all round: Good Guys, 1; Pond Slime, 0.
