It's up in the air! But two years ago these two long pieces of Concorde 2 were brought from Sud Aviation, Toulouse, to BAC Filton. The only official Press car permitted in the convoy was the Vauxhall Viva driven by CM's deputy editor fain Sherriff. Photographer Dick Ross went along too, and his picture shows the convoy delayed at a narrow bridge in France, illustrating only one of the many problems to be overcome in this joint venture before last week's successful test flight of the British prototype.
