Also called slider or zoom lifts, because they, literally, slide under the tail of the chassis. The platforms stow horizontally with a single fold, or, where the overhang is short, with a double-fold. They are popular for refrigerated bodies and trailers because the installation does not affect the insulated f bar of the body.
