tachographs will be disqualified from holding and five of his drivers have had their KV an NY driving licence for a year, Traffic licences revoked by Senior Traffic Commissioners have warned. Commissioner Michael Betts after police found wires in four of their vehicles. The six were ordered by Kendal magistrates to pay fines and costs of more than 14,000 last June when they admitted falsifying tachograph records.
Traffic Commissioners are concerned by the number of traffic accidents caused by driver error, particularly fatigue, Once tacho records are falsified there is no way of telling to what extent hours limits have been breached.
