Team C Couriers joins pallet network Fortec
TEAM C COURIERS is expanding its operations from parcels to pallets by joining Fortec, the pallet network.
In order to join the pallet network on 1 February, the Thetford. Norfolk-based firm took delivery of a 44-tonne trailer, an 18-tonne HGV, and two 7.5-tonne trucks to run alongside its van fleet.
'We have found there is a rising number of parcel carriers, and, increasingly, they are competing [by offering] extremely low prices.
We made a decision to join a pallet network so we could offer clients the opportunity to transport smaller goods alongside pallets," says Scott Game, business development manager at Team C Couriers.
He says as a result of joining Forted, the company has already won eight new customers.
Team C currently handles 35 pallets a night, but Gaine expects this to rise to 100 within six months. a CM speaks to Fortec's managing director, Neil Hodgson, next week
