TI1E NEW Chelsea 230 Series power-take-off manufactured by Spicer Power Products Division, Wolverhampton, provides drive engagement/disengagement while the vehicle is moving.
Its drive (hot shift) mechanism is powered by air fed from the vehicle's standard air system and controlled by a 12 or 24V electric solenoid operated from the cab.
It will fa a standard sixbolt SAE transmission.
To protect the vehicle's drivenue and PT-0 gears the hot shift is via an integral clutch pack in the PT-0 which eliminates any gear clash.
Torque capacity has been increased to 407Nm at 1,1XX1rpm.
Standard output shafts are 32111111 in diameter but output flanges are available for direct mounting to a pump.
