She remained on hand this week to help junior Minister David Mitchell, who took on the debate on seat belts at short notice this week.
Chalker, a keen supportei of compulsory front seat belts on vans and cars, advised Mitchell on the finer points of the issue and had the satisfaction of seeing the measuri. approved permanently by 2fl votes to 25.
