• A total of 40 drivers jobs are among 450 being cut at drinks manufacturer International Distillers & Vintners, which is shedding its wholesale drinks operation based at Harlow.
The company, which owns the Smirnoff vodka and Baileys Irish Cream brands, is planning to concentrate on its core marketing business. "We have made a decision to move away from drinks delivery." it says.
WV plans to sell its Harlow warehouse, where the majority of redundancies will be made.
