Recently, one of his drivers was handed a parking ticket after he parked outside the British Museum while collecting scaffolding. Proctor says: "It was ridiculous, there was absolutely nowhere to park and it was an essential job.
"Another major gripe is trying to clear yellow box junctions as trucks can't accelerate as fast as cars and due to the length of the vehicle can be left with the rear of the trailer still in the junction."
