r-IN March 9, Glasgow Transport VCommittee decided to send a deputation, consisting of the Convener, Councillor William Reid, the sub-convener, Councillor David S. Brown, Baillie W. M. Crone, the transport manager and the assistant manager, to visit Manchester and London. They are to report on the trolleybus systems in those cities with a view to the advisability of operating trolleybuses on similar lines in Glasgow.
The Convener said he hoped the matter would be left to the individual judgment of councillors and would not be treated as a party question.
