ahese are some of the children recently helped by parcels operator Elan when it provided free delivery for four consigments of food, clothing and towels sent out to Romania by the Reading-based charity, Feed the Children.
The initiative was sparked by customer services supervisor Sally Lankester, whose mother is involved with the charity. "When! approached the board for their help they had no hesitation in providing the transport free of charge," says Lankester.
