THE RISING price of new trucks prompting many operators who woul normally have opted for factory-fres chassis to buy late-registered used instead "They can afford £45,000 for a two-yea old example, but they may not be able t afford 05,000 for a new one," says Jonatha Bownes of Volvo dealership ThomHardie's Cheshire used truck operation.
