• Police have finished investigations into the Sowerby Bridge accident in West Yorkshire that killed six people in September. A police report has been sent to the Coroner "for his deliberations".
• A new managing director from parent company Paccar steps into Foclen Trucks in January next year. Current boss Rod Heather stays on as assistant managing director.
• Speed enforcement equipment is being tested on the M25 and M4 as part of the DOT's variable speed limit experiment aimed at decreasing journey times, reducing accidents and driver stress.
