SINCE taking over the Mann Egerton range of garage equipn Westinghouse Brake and Signal Co. has been carrying development work on a number of new products. One of the of these to be finalized has resulted in the announcement of a range of trolley jacks.
Two models are available to begin with—the MS-15 and the ( with capacities of 1.5 and 3 tons respectively. The MS-15 h minimum height of lifting head of 4.75 in. and a maximun height of 20 in. The jack is a compact one: overall length is 3 and the net weight is 85 lb. The OJ-3 has similar lifting height fig —5 in. minimum and 21 in. maximum—but the frame is 4 long and the jack weighs 155 lb.
Both trolley jacks are of all-welded construction with n wheels and ball-bearing castors at the rear for easy movement automatic safety valve in the hydraulic system prevents excess lc being lifted and the release action is designed so that there i chance of accidental operation.
