Ho!set Engineering was founded in Huddersfield in 1952, bought by Cummins Inc in 1973, and changed its name to Cummins Turbo Technologies in 2006. For more than 50 years, the Hoiset brand has been synonymous with turbocharging and air handling excellence, developing a portfolio of technologies comprising wastegate, sliding wall variable geometry, power-turbine, twostage, and turbocompound products. Huddersfield continues to be the techni headquarters of the global operation, with technical centres also located in: Columbus, USA: Pune, India; and Wuxi, China.
The new range of small turbochargers has been developed by an internatio team including engineers in the UK, China and India. The new product range applies class-leading product knowledge and technology to the specific requ ments of the 2.0-litre to 5.0-litre engine market, delivering the aerodynamic per formance, reliability and durability associated with the Ho!set heavy-duty prod range but in small, light turbocharger products optimised for this engine size.
