• After 27 years of 1-IGV training J Coates has retired from the Leicester-based firm that bears his name.
John Coates, who set up the training business in 1970 and also ran a haulage firm until 1993, has trained more than 15,000 drivers.
Steve Eburne becomes the new managing director and the firm will continue to trade under the same name.
