HADDENHAM, Buckinghamshire-based business PDX Logistics is to join Pallet-Track covering the HP postcode from the end of March.
The irm, which celebrates 21 years in business this April, has been with UK Pallets (including its predecessor Weaver Pallet Express) for a decade, covering the OX postcode.
Geoff Morgan, founder and MD of PDX, says a desire to cover the HP postcode, which wasn’t possible with UK Pallets, led to him considering a number of approaches last summer.
“I visited the Pallet-Track hub and was impressed with the operation,” says Morgan, who cites the network’s IT, ability to sell quarter-pallets, and the passion of MD Nigel Parks as factors in his decision. PDX, which will become a shareholder member in Pallet-Track, runs four vehicles (including an urban-artic), and its 24,000ft2 warehouse serves international clients selling everything from toys and books to condiments. Annual turnover is £1.5m.
