DURING the current financial year the Greater London Council expects to provide London Transport with £57m in revenue support and £98m in capital grants.
Giving these figures in the Commons, Transport Minister Norman Fowler added that the greater part of this expenditure was eligible for support from transport supplementary grant or from the Government's urban programme.
He noted that new bus grant and fuel duty were paid in arrears, and for the year 1979i 80 they each amounted to about Om.
